This stunning piece of Redwood from the forests of Humboldt County started as a hefty 4” thick, 16’ long slab that became both the table top and table base for this custom outdoor dining table. Our clients were looking for an art piece that would make a bold statement, and out of our collaboration came a very special original design that utilizes a spiraling reciprocal base that elevates this piece from functional to unforgettable. The live edge and table surface have several imperfections that became unique windows into the soul of the wood with our addition of clear epoxy. The wood is sealed with our signature natural hard wax oil and ceramic hard coat finish, making an elegant waterproof and UV resistant surface.
